What is the E&O claim process?
If you have received a Real Estate E&O insurance claim, the first thing you should know is that HMS Risk Management specializes in supporting real estate professionals during this stressful time. We will answer any questions you have, and then have you speak with the claim department of your insurance underwriter. Once we put you in touch with your underwriter, he or she will ask you for details about the real estate transaction in question and help you complete all of the necessary forms. Your insurance underwriter will then secure a defense attorney for you who will be your advocate until the E&O insurance claim is resolved.
